Description
Ix has been imprisoned by a strange alien race known as the Mazerians - and it is up to you to guide him to his freedom.
Kidnapped as a young boy by the Mazerians and put on display in their alien zoo, Ix's day begins as it always has, but today there's something in his living space he hasn't seen before, an unusual plant that gives him the means to escape.
In order to find his way home Ix must travel through a range of alien landscapes, with hundreds of rooms to traverse, solving puzzles and collecting elements to aid his bid for freedom. Along the way he will meet friends who offer clues and enemies who must be out-witted for him to survive.

What the press say“Mazera, like any other Astraware game, is a guarantee for many hours of fun for all ages! I really liked how the progress was saved, and that there are 5 large worlds to discover without getting a bloated inventory.” Stefan Winkel, spmwinkel_ppcWhat our customers say“I've been playing videos games since Pong and Intellicast days, and I have to says this is one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played on any platform, including PC, Xbox, Playstation or Gamecube. The graphics are simple as are the controls-basically, you move you character around-there is no shooting, object manipulation or other moves to worry about. Where this game excels is in the adventuring and puzzle solving, including some simple arcade sequences that are challenging but fair. This games borrows ideas from many older games, including Pong, Breakout, and a multitude of others. The story is to help your character to escape his captors, the Mazeran's, and return home. He is aided in his quest by the indigenious Uhti people, who offer various forms of advice and assistance. The game is relatively short- I'd say the average person would complete it in 4-6 hours, but it is a fun journey. There are five main areas plus a "secret" area. If you get stuck in the game, there is a good forum at astraware.com where you can get help. If you enjoy a puzzle adventure with some retro arcade sequences thrown in for good measure, I highly recommend Mazera. I don't think you will be disappointed.” Bob Clay, Rolla, Misouri |
